Hi, I'm Katie!  

Katie Cianci, LCSW
Holistic Psychotherapist & Well-Being Coach

After experiencing several losses and childhood trauma,  I know how hard it can be to get through challenging and stressful times. Some of the ways I've coped with stress include being outside nature, music, art, meditation, yoga and dancing.

 

You may even catch me dancing outside at a concert in the park or walking along the beach dipping my toes in the ocean waves.

Early in my career, I helped people succeed in the workplace as a HR professional. It was a rewarding experience supporting employees and managers create a culture of well-being and productivity. 

 

After 13 years in HR, I realized the impact mental health and stress had on an individual's personal and professional life. I wanted to make a greater impact in a counseling role and I returned to graduate school to pursue a Masters in Social Work.  

 

During graduate school, I experienced my own struggles with stress management, trying to manage working part-time, while attending classes and being a new Mom.  I started having frequent panic attacks, insomnia and high stress to the point I could barely walk.

 

That's when a mentor suggested I try mindfulness meditation.

 

If you're like me who is always on the go, it was hard sitting still but I was determined to conquer stress and overwhelm with natural solutions.

 

The results were life changing! 

 

So, I started sharing with my clients and noticed they also experienced quick results when they practiced mindfulness, yoga or spending more time outside in nature.

 

Did you know that 30-minutes a day is a natural mood booster? Yes, it's true!  

 

It was fun and easier for my clients to make behavioral and lifestyle changes when they combined Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with somatic and holistic practices to their routine.

 

After witnessing hundreds of clients recover from anxiety, trauma, depression, burnout and addiction, I believe everyone has the ability to build resilience and be free from suffering. 

 

My empowering and solution focused approach integrates mind, body, spirit healing which allows you to return to your true nature, emerge as calm, authentic and resilient.

 

When you're in the flow of joy and living a healthy balanced lifestyle, you become unstoppable at achieving results in your life.
